Prayers for 9 September 2010

- · Answered prayer:
from a young man “that God blessed me with a dream about my dead sister…I pray He blesses me with another.”
- ·
- · Many prayers of celebration:
for passes, for upcoming discharges, from a young woman thankful for a letter from a friend, from a young man thankful he has moved off low privilege status, for smiley faces, the state fair, Popeye, Betty Boop, and Good Stuff!
- · Many prayers of concern:
from a young man for his girlfriend that God would help her, from a young man that God would help him get off low privilege status, from a young man for better communication between students and staff, from a young man concerned about his mom’s co-worker being mean to her, from a young woman concerned about the schedule change of moving to full-days in school, from a young woman wanting to stay out of the drama going on at her cottage, for a young woman who got in trouble while trying to defend her sister from getting beaten up at school, from a young boy who is disappointed he missed going to the fair with his dad because he was grounded.
- · Many prayers for families:
moms, dads, brothers, grandparents, for an aunt who is pregnant, uncles, for the many nieces and nephews that are on their way, for a sister in juvenile detention, from a young woman for her mom who is pregnant with her baby sister, from a young boy for his sister who has been very ill and is celebrating her 16th b-day, from a young boy who wants to be back home with his family in rural Alaska, from a young girl for her family who is traveling, for pets, from a young woman who has been thinking about her twin who died at birth, safety for a sister serving her last 2 months in Iraq, from a young man grateful his sister and brother are getting themselves up and ready for school.
- · Prayers for healing:
for a boy to heal from his bike accident, from a young man “for my mom’s leg to heal,” from a young man “for my dad who’s having surgery next week,” for a young boy who hurt his head, from a young man for his victim.
- · Prayers for a young woman struggling with sadness after learning that her mom has let go of custody of her (she is the last of her sisters and brothers that her mom has let go of).

- · Prayer from a young boy, “for Daisy, Otto, Zeke, Cathy and Danelle (and that Danelle runs a good race).”
- · Prayer from a young girl, “I’m excited cause after treatment I get to move to the country and have a tire swing and a pond and a horse!”
