Prayers for 4 March 2010

ACS student prayers for us to lift up together this week:

 

*Prayers for those who have silent prayers they want help with.

*Prayer of celebration for a young woman whose birthday is this weekend! 

*Prayers for healing for a young woman who just had her wisdom teeth pulled.

*Prayer from a young woman, “I’m worried about my court date.”

*Prayer of celebration from a young man, “I get to go home in 7 weeks!”

*Prayer from a young girl, “my birthday is next week! Yea!”

*Prayer from a young woman, “that I could see my sister’s twin babies before they leave.”

*Prayer from a young woman “that my hatred for my dad could be healed.”

*Prayer from a young man, “for my friend whose in critical condition after a bad car wreck.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “that I could do better in school and I’m worried I might never be able to get a job.”

*Prayer from a young man, “that my mom could heal from her surgery.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “that I could find my mom and see her.”

*Prayer from a young boy, “I hope my mom doesn’t lose parental rights for any more of my brothers and sisters.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “I’m worried about my brother who’s in treatment out of state.”

*Prayer of celebration from a young girl, “I got to go on my “one-on-one” today!” (a trip out into the community with her counselor)

*Prayers that each student will know that they are loved and that they matter.

*Prayers for peace in the cottages.

 

*Prayers for strength, peace, patience and empathy for all ACS staff.

Prayers for 25 February 2010

ACS student prayers for us to lift up together this week:

 

*Prayers for those who have silent prayers they want help with.

*Prayer of celebration for a young man who successfully discharged this week and went home!

*Prayers for new students as they adjust to their new surroundings.

*Prayers for healing for a young boy, “I pray I get better soon, I’ve been sick.”  

*Prayers for a young man and his family as they grieve the 15th anniversary of his sister’s death.

*Prayers for healing and wholeness for students who are away from our care right now receiving more intensive treatment than we can provide.

*Prayer from a young man, “for my son and that I can be a better dad than mine was.”

*Prayer from a young boy, “for my cat – he’s getting declawed and I bet he won’t like it.”

*Prayer from a young man, “I’m so happy my family got another new puppy!”

*Prayer from a young boy, “I’m glad I have a new friend.”

*Prayer from a young boy, “for my grandpa - he had a stroke and is probably going to die soon and for my grandma because she’s going to be sad.”

*Prayers that each student will know that they are loved and that they matter.

*Prayers for peace in the cottages.

 

*Prayers for strength, peace, patience and empathy for all ACS staff.

Prayers for 18 February 2010

ACS student prayers for us to lift up together this week:

 

*Prayers for those who have silent prayers they want help with.

*Prayer of celebration for a young man who is discharging successfully tomorrow! (for the 2nd time)!

*Prayer of celebration for a young boy whose birthday is this weekend.  

*Prayers for healing for 2 young people who have the stomach flu.

*Prayers for healing and wholeness for students who are away from our care right now receiving more intensive treatment than we can provide.

*Prayer from a young man “that I can do good when I leave here.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “that my anger and hatred would go away.”

*Prayer from a young girl, “that I could find a family.”

*Prayer from a young boy, “for my pets at home. I miss them so much and I hope they don’t die while I’m away.”

*Prayers that each student will know that they are loved and that they matter.

*Prayers for peace in the cottages.

 

*Prayers for strength, peace, patience and empathy for all ACS staff.

*Prayer of celebration from a young woman who is discharging successfully tomorrow! “I am so happy!”

*Prayer from a  young woman, “for my family – they aren’t doing so good since me and my sister got taken away.”

*Prayer from a young man, “I’m so grateful that God has welcomed me back into His arms after I had been worshipping Satan.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “for my sister – she’s pregnant with twins and one of the twins might be in trouble.”

*Prayer from a young man “I pray for help with my anger.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “for my dad who’s going in for surgery soon.”

*Prayer from a young girl, “I’m thankful for my family.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “that my mom’s visit this week goes good.”

*Prayer from a young boy, “I’m glad I’m here at ACS getting the help I need.”

*Prayer from a young man, “for my aunt – she’s the only family I have right now and I’m really grateful for her.”

*Prayer from a young man, “for my friend in Afghanistan – that he will come home safe this month.”

*Prayer from a young man, “for my mom – she has an infection and has already lost a toe and now she might lose her leg too.”

*Prayer from a young man, “for my dad in Afghanistan – I pray he comes home safe and sound.”

*Many prayers for those suffering in Haiti.

*Prayers that each student will know that they are loved and that they matter.

*Prayers for peace in the cottages.

*Prayer from a  young woman, “for my sister who has been deployed to Iraq – that she comes back with her head and body OK.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “for my new romance.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “for the girl bullying me at school.”

*Prayer from a young woman “for my friend in another treatment place who tried to kill herself last night.”

*Prayer from a young man, “for my peer who had to leave treatment…that his hard work didn’t count for nothing – that he’ll find the right path.”

*Prayer from a young woman, “for my friend’s grandma – she’s very, very sick.”

*Prayer from a young man, “I’m thankful that through prayer and reading the Bible that God is helping me stay on the right path.”

*Prayer from a young man, “that somehow funds could be found to get me a plane ticket home for a spring break visit.”

*Prayers that each student will know that they are loved and that they matter.
